Aduceus was formed in 2017 by the composer and musical director Mark Powell.

Mark began his musical career with the folk-rock group Blackthorn, before moving on to work with many other leading artists in the folk world, as musician, producer or co-producer and recording engineer.

He later moved into radio and TV production, working on commercial soundtracks. From this, he diversified into theatrical musical direction, and it was from here that he began writing for TV in the mid-90s.

He has written for several of the major production music libraries, and his tracks have been featured on TV and radio programmes worldwide, as well as being licensed for video games. He has also written for corporate clients such as Nokia and British Midland Airways.

Aduceus was born out of Mark’s love for the classical symphonic form, which he blends here with rock and dubstep elements. The debut album, “Truth Without Words” was released in November 2017, and the next, “Resurgence,” is now in production, and will be released in late 2018.
